Ace Services is a UK home services marketplace that matches homeowners, landlords and letting agents with local tradespeople. Posting a job and getting quotes is free. Contact details stay private until a quote is accepted. Tradespeople pay nothing to quote and 2% of the job, capped at £10, only when they win it.
Phone numbers and email addresses are hidden from tradespeople until a quote is accepted, and only the accepted tradesperson receives them.

How it works
- The customer, or a tenant using a property link, describes the problem and adds photos.
- Up to three local tradespeople send a price. Nobody quoting sees the address or phone number.
- The customer accepts one quote. Only that tradesperson receives the contact details.
- The tradesperson arranges access directly and the record of the job stays on the account.
Who it is for
- Homeowners and renters: Post a job, compare quotes from up to three tradespeople, and hire without giving out a phone number first.
- Landlords: Each property gets a permanent link the tenant uses to report a problem. The landlord sees quotes with photos before anything is agreed.
- Letting agents: Tenants report through a link, the agent's own contractors quote first, and the wider network is there only when the agent opens a job to it.
- Tradespeople: Quote for free through the provider app and pay a success fee only when a customer accepts the quote.
