Ace Services is a home services marketplace that matches homeowners, landlords and letting agents in the UK with local tradespeople. Posting a job is free, tradespeople quote for free, and your number stays private until you hire.
What Ace Services does
Job posting and quotes for homeowners
Describe the job and add photos, and an AI assistant asks the questions a tradesperson would. Up to three local tradespeople send a price, and nobody quoting sees your phone number or address.
Repair reporting for landlords
Each property gets a permanent link the tenant uses to report a problem with photos. The landlord sees quotes before anything is agreed and keeps a dated record of every repair.

Tradespeople pay only when they win
A tradesperson pays 2% of an accepted quote, capped at £10, and nothing if they lose. Bark and Rated People charge per lead and MyBuilder charges a shortlist fee, win or lose, and those costs tend to end up in the price you are quoted.
No subscription for tradespeople
There is no monthly fee on Ace Services. Checkatrade membership costs about £80 to £180 a month and Rated People about £15 to £60, so a trade has to win enough work to cover it before earning anything.
Your number stays private until you hire
On Checkatrade, Bark, MyBuilder and Rated People your contact details reach tradespeople before you have chosen one. On Ace Services they go only to the tradesperson whose quote you accept.
At most three quotes per job
Each job is capped at three tradespeople, so you can compare prices without being flooded. Bark states a maximum of five professionals per lead.
An assistant writes the job with you
The AI assistant asks the follow-up questions a tradesperson would, so quotes rest on the full picture. None of Checkatrade, Bark, MyBuilder or Rated People offers this.
A Trust Score you can check
Each tradesperson's Trust Score combines their Google and Facebook reviews, ratings from Ace Services customers who hired them and how long they have been trading, and their profile links out to where those reviews live.

How Ace Services works
- The customer, or a tenant using a property link, describes the problem and adds photos.
- Up to three local tradespeople send a price. Nobody quoting sees the address or phone number.
- The customer accepts one quote. Only that tradesperson receives the contact details.
- The tradesperson arranges access directly and the record of the job stays on the account.
Who you deal with
The tradesperson whose quote you accept. They get your details once you accept and arrange the visit with you, or with your tenant, directly.
How you hear back
An email and a push notification each time a quote arrives. You can message the tradespeople who quoted from your request page.
If nobody quotes
If a job has no quote within 48 hours, the Ace Services team personally finds a vetted local tradesperson. Reply to your confirmation email or write to support@aceservices.app.
Getting started
Customers post a job on the website or in the Ace Services app and sign in with a mobile number. Landlords add a property in about a minute. Tradespeople join through the Ace Services for Providers app.
